PREPARATION FOR TOEFL
GUIDE TO TOEFL:
There are four sections, which will be in order in test
also.
1)
Reading.
2) Listening.
3) Speaking.
4) Writing.
Reading:
Here we can use either of the two tactics like study the whole passage and then
answer the questions around 12 to 14 depends. Last Question carries heavy marks
as it may be a summary.
The next Tactic is that you study paragraph by paragraph as
questions will be in order 1st paragraph contains 1st
question and so on……
Its left to you that you can take any tactics…………..
But my choice is to use first Tactic as the last question
you have to answer the summary, its better to study the whole paragraph and
then answer each question….
For every paragraph it will be 20 mins to read and answer.
So you can use 12 minutes for reading and then answer 14 questions in 8
minutes…simple Logic….
Listening: Here
only thing is listen well, concentrate and answer well, I think this is the
easiest section.
Speaking: It
depends on you how to speak. At present scenario in
India
every one will speak a good English, so that doesn’t matters a lot. Better to
avoid fear in Test practice at least once at home.
Writing: Practice
writing Essays. There are many topics. Practice those.
One thing is to be cool all over the Exam, don’t get Excited
after finishing one section and lose the other section.
Each and every section is important, as you need to score
more than 20 in each section
Just Concentrate while taking up your Test……………
